Welcome to the Association of Independents in Radio! You are now a part of a vibrant community of media makers, producers, journalists, and sound designers and we are so happy to have you. Here’s how to get started with AIR.
Get to work
First, you should log in and build your profile in the Talent Directory so people can find you and learn about your work. Get advice on Building an Effective Profile in our Freelancer Tools. Looking for work? Find paid opportunities like jobs and fellowships on our Opportunities Board. You’ll want to opt in to receive email alerts when new jobs are posted.
Get connected
As an AIR member, you now have access to AIR’s Community Forums. Opt in to the forums of your choosing to receive a digest of conversations delivered right to your inbox. Learn about how the Forums work on our FAQ page. You should absolutely visit our membership benefits page to learn more about AIR’s offerings. Plus, we host members-only virtual events like community co-working. Introduce yourself to the community in the #intros channel of our AIRsters Slack.

AIR has launched a new audio training platform called SoundPath. Members get the best of SoundPath with discounts on webinars, live classes and mentorship sessions with with industry pros. Learn more about AIR’s flagship programming and online offerings.
