Tran Vu

Ngoc-Tran Vu was AIR's Director of New Voices where she supported and advocated for independent producers and mediamakers in mission-driven storytelling. She also identifies as a Vietnamese-American multimedia artist and organizer whose work draws from her experience as a cultural connector, trainer and strategist. Born in Vietnam, Tran came to the US with her family as political refugees and grew up in Boston's working-class neighborhoods . She received her MA in Arts and Politics at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and her BA in Ethnic Studies and Visual Arts at Brown University. Tran works across borders and is based in Boston's Dorchester community. @TranVuArts
