About Mike
I am an audio storyteller, educator, musician, thought leader, and author born in Houston, TX, and living as a digital nomad based in New York at the moment. I have been creating since childhood and started to pursue creating professionally with music during college. Receiving my bachelor's degree in Audio Production led to me doing a lot of freelance work in scoring, music production, and audio editing. It also guided me to release the project I am most proud of, my podcast, The Art of Letting Go. The podcast started as an alternative to therapy and became a resource for people on their healing journeys.
Mike's Portfolio
The Art of Letting Go is a podcast I started in 2017 as an alternative to therapy because it was too expensive.
You Had Me at Black is where Black Millennials tell the true-life stories you won't see on TV. My role was music composition, audio editing, and music supervision of season 2 of the show.
I received a grant from The Poet Life and The African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council to produce this episode to fight tobacco use in the Black community.
Spotify held a residency for 8 artist called Frequency Free Studio. I was selected to be apart of this residency and to produce one episode of The Art of Letting Go in their studio in Los Angeles, CA.
