About Lina
Hello!
I'm an audio producer with a creative background in field recording, sound design, and oral histories. More recently I produced for the BBC World Service, pitching and producing stories based on extraordinary life experiences. Some of my other work in the past included providing archival and research support for long-form programs such as iHeartRadio's 'Deliver Us From Ervil' and for clients such as Sony. I also fact-checked for long-form podcasts with iHeartRadio, Sony, Coda Media, and for editorial pieces at The Baffler.
Storytelling has always been the heart of what I do! At the Brooklyn Public Library, I led the oral history project where I recorded and listened to hours of amazing life stories of Brooklynites.
Formerly I worked as an audio archivist at NPR digitizing and giving some TLC to the world of reel-to-reel tapes and CD-R's. In the airwaves, you can also catch me at M6OMU (go ham!).
