About KAYLA

Kayla Lattimore is a digital storyteller and photographer who focuses her work on social documentary.  After traveling the world and working in television and marketing in Los Angeles she decided to get her master’s in documentary film production to create impactful work for her community and the world. She is a producer who creates documentaries and content centered around race and social justice issues. Her work has been featured in the Georgia Documentary Film Festival, The Bronze Lens Film Festival, VICE,  and winner of the best documentary in the District Cinema Film Festival. She's produced compelling episodes of Fresh Air with Terry Gross as an associate producer and was a development producer for the Spotify Original podcast Archetypes hosted by Meghan Markel.

Well, at 72, Paula Degree is doing it all over again. Growing up Paula always knew something was off but couldn’t put her finger on it, until she was 68 and realized she was a trans woman. Leaving her old life behind her, Paula finds herself in Cape Cod figuring out how to be the woman she always wanted to be.
