About Eric
Eric has worked in digital media and podcasting for more than 10 years, starting at WBRU-FM in Providence, R.I. He's also worked at WTOP-FM, Mental_Floss, AllThingsD, Recode, and Vox Media.
From 2015 to 2020, Eric produced Recode Decode with Kara Swisher, which was a top-ranking Technology podcast on Apple Podcasts; Adweek named it the Podcast of the Year in 2019. You can find a full list of shows he's worked on here.
Eric is also a member of the Podcast Professionals Association. Outside of podcasting, his interests include movies (follow him on Letterboxd), theme parks, and complaining about various tech companies.

From 2022 to 2025, I edited the Kleiner Perkins podcast Grit, a candid exploration of the personal and professional challenges faced by entrepreneurs. The show attracts powerful, influential, and high-profile guests, and therefore demands a high level of polish in every episode.
With the team at MMA Global, I developed, produce, and edit the business podcast Building Better CMOs, hosted by MMA CEO Greg Stuart. On every episode, Greg talks to A-list marketing leaders about how they got to the C-suite, the innumerable challenges marketers face today, and what other people in their industry get wrong.
We all follow people online ... but who do they follow? On Follow Friday — which ran for 67 episodes and concluded in 2022 — I spoke with writers, podcasters, comedians, and other internet creators to find out. Guests included Roman Mars (99% Invisible), Alexandra Petri (The Washington Post), Tom Scott (YouTube), Bridget Todd (There Are No Girls on the Internet), Hrishikesh Hirway (Song Exploder), and Shima Oliaee (Dolly Parton's America).
