I am a freelance story editor with extensive experience in audio news and narrative storytelling. My recent work includes In the Dark (New Yorker), The 13th Step (NHPR), NPR's Embedded (Tested and Capital Gazette series), Believed (NPR/Michigan Radio), 544 Days (Crooked Media/Gimlet), The Heist (Center for Public Integrity), The Revolution (NBC), Code Switch (NPR), Land of the Giants (Vox), The New Yorker Radio Hour, and Latino USA. Previously, I spent 15 years at NPR, where I was Senior Editor of All Things Considered and then NPR's audio storytelling trainer. I got my start as a producer at WBUR in Boston. Stories I have edited have won the Peabody, Murrow, and duPont Columbia awards, and The 13th Step was a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
