About Alfred
I thrive working in news, politics, and comedy. I can even do sports. I can help with audio editing, guest booking, voice over, recording, interviews, coaching, show launching, etc.
Like many other millennial audio producers, I moved to New York City and clocked in my public radio experience for WNYC/PRI’s The Takeaway. Which led to working on the political and humor SiriusXM show, Stand Up with Pete Dominick where I was lead producer for many years.
Podcasting came next when I joined Gallery Media Group. There I produced and launched numerous shows.
Independently I co-created, co-hosted, produced, edited, and booked the Pizza Pod Party which was sponsored by Ooni Pizza Ovens. We have published interviews with bestselling author, George R. R. Martin, Roy Wood Jr. of the Daily Show, Ali Velshi of MSNBC, bestselling author Susan Orlean, journalist Brian Stelter, Candace Bushnell of Sex and the City, actor Patrick Wilson, How I Built This’ Guy Raz, and more.
I started my career as Program Director at WMEB at the University of Maine, where I studied journalism. Soon I was hired to be Senior Producer/Assistant Program Director for news radio WGAN in Portland, Maine. There I jocked 5 days a week at WCLZ and even did televised traffic hits for the CBS affiliate.
My career has touched on a little bit of everything. My favorite Simpsons episode is The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show, a brilliant satire on gatekeepers and comedy.
