This year, we’re hosting the Gala at DCTV, a working media center inside a converted firehouse. It’s a space built for storytelling, which makes it the right setting for a night centered on independent audio and the people behind it.

AIR is growing in a real way this year, with new investment behind the work and a stronger foundation for supporting independent creators long-term. The gala is a moment to be in that shift together.

This is one of the few times AIR members and the broader network are in the same room. People meet collaborators here. Projects get started here. If you’ve ever said, “We should work together,” this is where that conversation happens.

You’ll also meet AIR’s full staff, spend time with our newly elected board, and be alongside AIR mentors, alums, instructors, and partners.
