Where are you based and what do you do?
I am based in Los Angeles, where I just finished my internship on the national desk with NPR and I am now freelancing in audio production.
A piece of yours (in any medium!) that you would like to share?
My first piece as an NPR intern: Don't Count Them Out Just Because They Can't Cast A Ballot. I gathered reporting for a month and really wanted to include voices of DACAmented and undocumented youth in midterm election coverage of 2018.
What draws you to storytelling?
The importance of providing nuance and complicating our understanding of the world and the people in it.
What's playing on your radio/audio streaming service right now?
The Healing Justice podcast, recommended by a close friend for many months that I am just now listening to.
Hard-at-work-on-a-project snack of choice?
Chocolate covered almonds...hmmmm...yum.
