2026 AIR Community Survey
AIR's annual Community Survey returns!
And this year, we’re focusing exclusively on our advocacy efforts.
Our goal at AIR is to advocate for fair and equitable practices in the audio industry through training, mentorship, and resource sharing. This feels especially urgent right now, as many of us are continuing to navigate complex questions about the sustainability of careers in audio, radio, and journalism.
Through this survey, we’re inviting input from across the audio ecosystem – including independent creators, newsroom staff, and professionals working within supporting organizations. Your perspective will directly inform our advocacy priorities over the next 12 months.
There are two meaningful ways to support this effort:
- Take the survey by Friday, July 31st. It takes about 20–30 minutes to complete, with additional time recommended in case you want to wax poetic in the open-ended responses.
- Help us amplify the survey by sharing it within your networks to broaden its reach and impact.
Participation is open to all – AIR membership isn’t required. As a token of our appreciation, respondents will receive a promo code upon completion that can be applied toward a discounted AIR membership or renewal (Professional Plans only).
