Kristen Wesloh joins AIR Board

December 3, 2021 -- Kristen Wesloh has been appointed to join AIR's Board of Directors

Kristen brings vital experience in both non-profit management and fundraising to our board. We're honored to have her expertise and leadership.

Kristen Wesloh has more than 20 years of nonprofit management experience and specializes in securing foundation, corporate, and government grants. She is currently the Director of Institutional Investment for Prosperity Now (formerly the Center for Enterprise Development) in Washington, DC.

Ms. Wesloh was previously the Director of Institutional Giving for American Public Media/Minnesota Public Radio. Under her leadership, the Institutional Giving team secured annual funding for Marketplace, APM Reports, MPR News, Classical APM/MPR, and APM's slate of podcasts, including Brains On!, In the Dark, and The Uncertain Hour. Also during her tenure, Ms. Wesloh's team helped to raise $75 million for the Inspired by You Campaign for APM/MPR.

Ms. Wesloh holds a master’s degree in public and nonprofit administration from Metropolitan State University (Minneapolis-St. Paul) and a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music (Boston).

In addition to this appointment, AIR is currently accepting nominations for our board elections, which will be held in January 2022.
