I just left my job at The New York Times where I created The Daily. I'm now out freelance editing, producing, developing new things & loving it. I'm hoping to connect with people here to get more contract gigs & support in whatever ways I can.

About Theo

I joined The New York Times to create "The Daily" in 2017. Under my leadership, it grew to an audience of over four million listens a day. We won a duPont award. We were part of the Times' Pulitzer Prize winning coverage of sexual harassment in the workplace. And I came back to the radio, bringing The Daily to over 150 stations a day. Before "The Daily," I was the Supervising Producer of "All Things Considered" at NPR (the youngest person to hold that role). My mission is to bring the news to people who don't think they need it and to create a more informed world.

Now I'm doing that on my own, making new audio journalism with people who want to bring necessary work into the world. I'm looking to take on editing, producing, and development work.
