About Sofie
I am an audio producer, writer, editor and researcher working across media. Recent projects I've been involved in include interview and narrative podcasts, animation, documentary, and longform writing.
I have graduate training in Journalism (Boston University) and Anthropology (London School of Economics). As an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, I studied literature, religions and folklore: the stories people tell to make sense of the world.
Before moving into journalism, I worked in international development for several years, focusing on the causes and solutions to various forms of social inequality. During this time, I gained project management, research, and editorial skills that continue to serve me well in my current career.
I can help bring your project to life. Get in touch if you’d like to work on something with me. sofie [dot] isenberg [at] gmail [dot] com

Kind World is a show about how a single act of kindness can change someone's life. In each episode, hosts and reporters Yasmin Amer and Andrea Asuaje search the world for good news stories that will restore your faith in humanity. A production of WBUR.
While religion and science often seem at odds, there’s one thing they can agree on: people who take part in spiritual practices tend to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The big question is: Why? In the “How God Works” podcast, professor Dave DeSteno takes us on a journey to find out – one that combines cutting edge neuroscience with ancient wisdom.
An epic love story reveals surprising truths about an Italian Jewish family, split apart by Fascism. How do you know when to flee? And what does it mean to stay?
Our team is creating a bilingual (Welsh and English) exhibition and animated film telling the story of the River Severn / Afon Hafren, which runs through Wales and England. Slated to appear at Oriel Davies Gallery in 2025. Learn more about the project at: https://www.gemmagreenhope.com/wip
