About Selene
With a background in music and the arts, it's no wonder that the stories Selene produces are full of rich sonic artistry. As senior audio producer at Dipsea, she directed voice actors, oversaw sound-design and led the development of a new genre of sleep audio. Her stories have been featured on The Kitchen Sisters, KALW, NPR, KCRW and independent podcasts. Currently an MFA student at Oregon State University, she teaches composition and creative writing to undergraduates and is editing her debut collection of short stories. When she's not working on radio or fiction, she writes music and performs with her dream-folk trio Artemisia, based in Oakland.
