I'm a big hands-on person and love cutting raw tape, shaping it into a story, and scoring it (not composing) to a beautiful soundscape. The type of work I'm looking for falls in that creative range of producer, audio editor, sound designer, voice narration, hosting, and interviewing. As a jill-of-many-trades, my left and right brain like to share responsibilities and am therefore also interested in the administrative, logistical, and technical aspects of podcast production.- Fact Checking

About Robyn
My background is in the social sciences with a BA in Anthropology and an MA in Communication and Documentary Studies. These two fields shaped my perspective to see the world in all its kaleidoscopic wonder and to approach my work through the lens of holism. I thrive within the process of delivering meaningful and serious discussion in an audio platform with a healthy dose of humor and comedy.
I love listening to fiction podcasts involving creative writing accompanied by fun and funky sound design and voice acting and would love to get involved in this genre. I have experience working on audio and video documentaries that explore niche cultures and investigate the relationship between micro and macro systems that effect people.
Subjects that I am personally passionate about are identity, family dynamics, child development and learning, community, mythology and folklore, and human relationships with the environment.

Reid and his daughter, Riley, love watching movies together. But their connection is deeper than most. Riley survived brain cancer and numerous surgeries, which left her blind. This hasn't stopped them from enjoying one of their favorite past times though. Reid has a way with words and uses his skills to narrate the movies that Riley loves the most. With technology advancements like descriptive video services, Reid might not need to narrate as much anymore, but that doesn't stop him from sharing his love of film with his daughter.
Dispatch Radio Host, Russ Rizzo, follows the trail as runners make their way through the grueling Dirty 30 Ultra Marathon in Golden Gate State Park, CO. Trudging on a broken toe, Russ takes us through the route where we meet organizers, volunteers, and some of the runners and what their journey has been like.
As the United States' population continues to grow, so does the diagnosis of mental health disorders like depression and general anxiety. Prescription medication is often the solution most people turn to in a world dominated by western science and technology. But this is not always enough to help people who may be struggling just to get through a given day. In this piece, I explored an alternative method that people are using to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. And it entails harnessing nature and the laws of physics.

Dreamstalk is part auditory experience, part interview, part introspection. It's a podcast about sleep-dreams, what they mean to us, and how they play a role in shaping our identities and our sense of the world. Each episode features a different guest starting with a reading of a significant dream and then a discussion about it and their sleep-dream journey as a whole.
The Playlist Challenge is a live voting music curation competition for people who love compiling playlists and sharing them with others. Each challenge is centered around a different theme that the players have to curate a playlist for. Water Is For Fighting explores the complexities of water in the Western United States. We focus on the South Platte River in Colorado, a critical water source for over 4.5 million people. Over the course of the series we follow the water on its journey from city pipes in Denver, up to treatment plants in the foothills, through reservoirs and dams, and to its headwaters deep in the Rockies. The story of the South Platte River is told at the intersection of natural and human history, socio-economics, law, science, and politics.
