About Livia
My name is Livia Brock, I am a Brooklyn-based podcast producer and audio editor with 4 years of experience.
In my current role as a Contract Associate Producer and Audio Editor at PRX, I have gained valuable insight into managing media content at various production stages. My responsibilities include attending editorial and production meetings, conducting in-depth research for interviews, and coordinating with guests, hosts, and recording studios. I am well-versed in maintaining organizational documents, editing interviews using ProTools, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the production process.
As a Freelance Producer, I have successfully developed podcast structures, maintained production timelines, and collaborated with hosts to edit and structure episodes. My experience includes transcribing tape, creating scripts, sound designing using ProTools, distribution, and implementing strategies for monetization. I have proven my ability to work independently, producing 10+ episodes per season for multiple shows.
In addition to my production skills, I bring a collaborative and creative mindset, essential for pitching and developing creative stories. My commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices in media is evident in my work, where I have actively contributed to diverse and inclusive storytelling across various projects.
Thank you for checking out my profile, and please reach out if there is anything else you'd like to know about me!

In Between Black & White, we invite perspectives on race from immigrant communities across the United States. In season 1, we’re beginning in the hot, crowded, glittering city of Miami. It’s Miami’s undeniable betweenness, its irrepressible otherness, that make it the perfect place to return to our all too familiar American conflicts over things like immigration, equity, and race.
