About Leital

I'm a creative leader and producer with more than 20 years experience in the audio and podcast space. Throughout my career, I've lead creative teams and developed, edited and produced award-winning, chart-topping shows.   I love the craft of audio and using storytelling to inspire, engage, move, and connect listeners.

Most recently, I was the head of content development for Malcom Gladwell's Pushkin Industries, where I developed and launched shows such as McCartney: A Life in Lyrics, Lost Hills, A Slight Change of Plans, Death of an Artist, The Loudest Girl in the World, and Hot Money, as well as the Apple Fitness+ audio feature, Time to Walk. Previously, I was the executive producer of podcasts at First Look Media/Topic Studios (Missing Richard Simmons, Intercepted with Jeremy Scahill, John Cameron Mitchell’s Anthem). I began my career at WNYC radio, where I produced the Peabody Award-winning arts and culture show Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen.

I have an MA in journalism from NYU, and I've taught audio reporting to graduate students for more than 15 years.

I'm available for project consulting, developing, team-building, EPing, editing and teaching.
