About Jessica
I have been an independent audio producer, editor, and educator since 2006. I was a cofounder of The Seattle Globalist, a nonprofit news site that earned accolades for its reporting and for its approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion in journalism.
I produced an Edward R Murrow-award winning special, Generation Putin for PRX, and a Gracie Award winning miniseries on humanitarian drug trafficking for KUOW Seattle.
Currently, I’m producing Mistakes Were Made, a podcast about nonmonogamy, as well as an audio fiction project called Love at the End of the World – forthcoming!

Produced for PRX and The Seattle Globalist in 2014, hosted by Brooke Gladstone. I co-reported the show and led production, writing, mixing and engineering.
It's been over 20 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Young people in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia are facing unemployment, democratic pressure, and the legacy of repression, while being influenced by the West, punk music, and the Pussy Riot trials. PRX sent a reporting team from the Seattle Globalist to explore the tensions in these countries, described by The Atlantic as 'uneasily suspended' between two political eras.
Join host Brooke Gladstone for Generation Putin, an in-depth look at the millennial generation in the post-Soviet states. Embed, stream and share the special and segments on SoundCloud.
