Jennifer is available forsmall freelance production and reporting, and tapesyncs
I am a national award winning audio journalist currently producer for AirSpace the podcast from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
I also work on a freelance basis producing and reporting audio stories. As well as working tapesyncs in the DC Metro area.
Previously I've taught audio journalism at the University of Notre Dame. I also spent seven years as a reporter, producer and host at three public radio stations; WCMU in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, WDET in Detroit, and WVPE based in Elkhart, Indiana. And I produced the Research Talks podcast for the International Food Policy Research Institute.
My Bachelor's degree is in broadcast journalism from Central Michigan University.
I love audio as a medium because it's more intimate. It allows the news to be a friend talking to you and taking you where they've been. Besides Public Radio my loves are; cats, the outdoors and baking.
