About F. Caperton
As Executive Producer of Cow Hill Productions, I produce stories for clients who want to share the passions behind what makes them unique. I listen to their needs and compose stories from four audio storytelling elements: the interviews I conduct, record, and edit; the ambient audio I record; appropriate music and related archival audio I find; and the narration I write. I place these elements with an ear for excellence in regard to audio levels, story continuity, and musicality. A production can be a single story that highlights a milestone or an anniversary or it can encompass chapters of stories told through podcasting, which I host.

"Sweet Stories in the Dell" is a podcast that I produced, wrote, and hosted in collaboration with Sweet Briar College, my alma mater. Sweet Briar is a college for women located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. The podcast focuses on the 21st Century path forward for the college under the leadership of President Meredith Woo. Episodes delve into the people of the College who helped make and continue to make Sweet Briar the unique educational institution for women that it truly is. The first episode explores how President Woo’s life experiences influence her leadership and how studying Sweet Briar’s past, aided her in charting its course forward. Other episodes describe our Leadership Core Curriculum, our Centers for Excellence, our Margaret Jones Wyllie ’45 Engineering Program, our award winning Equestrian Program, the music track of our Performing Arts Program, our historic Ralph Adams Cram designed campus, and the palimpsest of Sweet Briar’s history and our History Program.
