I'm most passionate about working on a team to empower the right person to tell an important story that can help listeners better understand their world. Reporting, researching, cutting tape and developing audio scenes is what lights me up most as a journalist and producer. But I also have the experience and drive to help shape narrative arcs as a story editor through collaborative scripting. I would love to work with small teams to help turn fantastic ideas into beautiful, compelling audio stories.- Fact Checking

About Corinne
Corinne Ruff is an LA-based audio journalist, producer and editor with nearly 10 years of journalism experience. With a background in public radio beat reporting, she's accustomed to fast-paced news environments with daily deadlines. She’s great at tracking down the right sources, cutting tape, digging up historical documents and archival audio, writing tough questions and engaging scripts and thinking through the bigger picture of how to tell a compelling story over time. Corinne is a collaborative problem solver with a passion for breaking down complex topics so anyone can understand them. Recently, as the executive producer of a narrative science podcast, she helped bring what could have been a technical academic show into the mainstream by structuring the show around story, place and people. She's experienced with managing the launch of a podcast from end to end, including the logistics of working with sound design, marketing, legal teams to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Corinne loves working with small teams to make passion projects a reality.
