About Cindy

Began career on NPR's Morning Edition in Dec. of 1979. Became first director of Weekend Edition Saturday in 1985. Took over as Senior Producer of Weekend Edition Saturday in 1987. Re-located to Northern Arizona in 1996 and worked with local station KNAU in Flagstaff, as well as part time producer for Morning Edition. Re-located to northern California in 2002,continued work for Morning Edition. Became NPR's first Audio Production coach in May 2015. Is now an independent producer, focusing on member station training programs, including all field production, story structure, sound design/mixing, writing for radio and voice coaching.
