About Cambra
Producing, scripting, recording, editing, sound design, mixing - I’ve done it all. I have an ear for finding the most engaging tape, and know how to maximize its impact through editing and sound design.
I love collaborative projects that illuminate all aspects of our beautiful, strange, wonderful world. I’m comfortable working in any environment, whether it’s live breaking news or an independent, shoestring labor of love. I worked for years in public radio as an editor, producer, board op, and engineer. Most recently I edited and sound designed intimate audio diaries for the self-care app MINDSET.

As a facilitator for StoryCorps, I traveled the US recording personal stories from Americans of all walks of life. Several of my recorded interviews aired on both local and national public radio stations. Here, my recording of US Air Force veteran Jeri Dilno describing her experiences as a closeted service member in the 1960s, as featured on the StoryCorps podcast.
MINDSET is a wellness platform designed to bring listeners together and find strength in vulnerability via shared stories. I edited, sound designed, and mixed 15+ multi-episode collections of intimate audio diaries, sleep stories, and soundscapes for the app featuring internationally-renowned musical talent. Here, a sleep story narrated by K-pop star and MINDSET founder Eric Nam.
