Pitch Us: Stories of Humor for The Pulse
Posted: September 14, 2020
Humor is complicated. We all find different things funny — but where does that stem from? What shapes our sense of humor? Why do we find dark humor funny? Is it healthy/adaptive? Can you lose your sense of humor? On this episode of The Pulse, we explore humor, where it originates and the different ways we experience it.
Please send us your pitches for potential feature-length stories between 4-8 minutes, personal audio essays, and/or sound-rich interstitials to [email protected] by Friday, Sept. 18.
The Pulse is a one-hour health, science, and technology show produced at WHYY in Philadelphia. The show airs on more than 60 NPR member stations.
Thank you and looking forward to your pitches.
