I collect sparkly interviews. I use them to make sound collages. Tell me about your project, perhaps I can help.

About Zo

I am a French-Australian audio producer and artist based in Montréal. Interviewing, co-writing and audio editing are my favorite parts of this work. My pieces have appeared on: On Air Fest, WMPG, CJLO and at the Art Matters Festival.

I am a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. As a research assistant at the Acts of Listening Lab at Concordia University, I explored the ethics of making art with someone else’s story.

As a freelancer, I've co-written scripts (Concert Cast), edited audio (Divided Families Podcast) and provided editorial support (One Plot at a Time). For CJLO, I produced several half-hour pieces (Radio Sourdough, Another Mile-End and Nothing more punk than jazz).

I am part of a collective and they help me shine. Right now, we are teaching each other different approaches to sound design. On my Montréal walks, I let experimental sound doc ideas brew.
