Tekella Foster

Tekella Foster (she/her) is a native Mississippian with more than two decades of journalism experience in broadcast media. She has produced for major networks including ABC, HGTV and CNN. An Emmy award winner, she has a proven ability to use various media platforms to engage communities in critical social issues and draw attention to stories that go underreported. She earned a master’s degree in journalism from Regent University and a BA in broadcast journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi. She seeks to educate and inspire others with hopes of bringing more beauty into the world. Outside of the production, you can find Tekella teaching etiquette and manners skills to teens, at the gym or shopping for greeting cards. And no, she wasn’t named after the alcohol.
