I am a student in the College of Communication at Boston University, pursuing a major in Journalism with a double minor in Film & TV and Political Science. On campus, I write for the Boston University News Service as a court reporter, covering mostly the Federal District Court of Massachusetts. In March of 2020, I joined the student-run radio station's news show, WTBU News as a general assignment correspondent and began producing content and special reports while sheltering-in-place in the San Francisco Bay Area. In June, I restarted the Elections Update portion of the show and began researching and aggregating information for a 1-2 minute segment twice a week. I also started an editorial internship with the San Jose Spotlight in May 2020, where I pitch and report on local business and politics for the heart of Silicon Valley. I enjoy covering politics and the judicial branch, but I am always looking to branch out and learn new things through different kinds of projects.
