About Solomon
Nice to e-meet you! I’m a podcast producer, audio engineer and music producer with 5 years of professional experience and a 10-album discography of original instrumental music.
I formed Collins Creative LLC after graduating Loyola University Chicago (LUC) to provide creative services - video prod., podcasting, copywriting, etc. - to small businesses and brands. Some of my past clients include OddDuck LLC, Ignatian Volunteer Corps, LUC, etc.
After working in all three areas (audio / video / writing), I chose to specialize in podcast & music production. For me, audio is 1) more fun to work with, 2) the most flexible form of content and 3) the best way to keep people’s attention.
For hobbies, I love watching documentaries, foreign language Netflix series and going to film festivals. If I’m not podcasting, I’m learning a new trick for making music or looking for upcoming artists - especially reggaetoneros. I love meeting people and hearing about new projects - if you'd like to have a quick chat let me know!
Solomon's Portfolio
I work as the sole podcast producer and social media strategist for this social sciences podcast analyzing the best advocacy campaigns from the past and present in the United Kingdom.
I worked as the sole freelance podcast producer for this interview-based indie podcast series about creators and their storytelling styles.
I was the sole podcast producer for the 2nd season of this interview-based podcast series exploring data-sharing’s impact with public health experts like Dr. Rhea Boyd.
I was the sole creator and producer of this 3-part mini podcast series where I interviewed my co-worker about 3 articles she wrote. I made 150 pieces of social media content (audiograms, graphics, etc.) for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and Twitter from the 3 interviews we did. I released two versions of the show: a video version on Spotify and an audio version on RadioPublic.
I was the sole producer and audio engineer of this 4-part mini video podcast series where public health experts were interviewed about their responses to local health concerns during the COVID-19 era.
'Ten' is a 1.5 hour-long compilation album of 34 of my most well-received instrumentals. The album consists of original music that I produced, mixed, mastered, and structured by myself in Ableton Live 10 Suite. This is the tenth studio album in my discography, all of which are available on all digital streaming platforms.
