About Samantha

With over two decades of experience, Samantha has worked as an audio producer, narrative script writer and audio journalist for the last two decades.
Her experience and credits span from documentary film, magazine journalism, and podcast production, with a founding legacy of interactive narrative design from the early 2000s that continues to inform all of her thinking about how to create stories. In 2023, she began to teach and mentor university students at TMU and OCADU in Toronto.
In 2022 she launched Bingeworthy, a newsletter about the art and craft of narrative podcasts. This newsletter has seen explosive growth and has been hailed as "ground-breaking" and "essential reading."
In 2017, she created and launched her own narrative podcast series called This is Our Time, which followed the story of four women as they embarked on a life-changing leadership expedition to Antarctica.
In 2018, Samantha followed that story all the way to Antarctica as podcaster-in-residence on an all-female leadership expedition for women in science.
Her podcast journey began in 2015 with The Egg Carton, a storytelling podcast that cracked open innovation stories to find the gooey insides.
