Rebecca Kaufman

I am an audio and radio producer with years of live news and podcast experience. I work primarily in the chat and interview space, and my most recent projects were with Neon Hum Media/Discovery and Pushkin Industries. Prior to my freelance work, I spent many years with public radio's Diane Rehm, first on her daily national show, and later developed and launched her podcast On My Mind. In 2020, we added The Diane Rehm Book Club, a monthly discussion series held over Zoom. 

I also have held television production positions at Al Jazeera English and Frontline/PBS, where my focus was on long form narrative pieces. 

I was very lucky to start my journalism and radio career at New Hampshire Public Radio as a reporter and a producer.

I chase after two young kids in DC.
