Rachel Hopkin

Rachel Hopkin is a British-born US-based folklorist and radio producer. Her radio career began at the BBC in 1999. She has worked on an independent basis since leaving the UK in 2006. Her audio features usually focus on subjects related to music and the arts, and are broadcast on networks around the world. In 2013 she was awarded a rare "National Interest Waiver" Green Card by the USCIS in recognition of her exceptional ability and a body of works that explore US traditional culture. Rachel has recently graduated with a PhD in folklore from the Ohio State University.
