Hello! I’m Nora. I’m an audio journalist and storyteller. I'm currently a radio Teaching Assistant at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. I am also starting a podcast for the Institute for Health and Human Potential. I am available for tape syncs and other work in the Portland, ME area. I’ve reported and produced audio stories for Slate Studios, CBC Radio, Atlantic Public Media, Lenny Says, WCAI (NPR member station), HumaNature Podcast (Wyoming Public Media), and Interlochen Public Radio. My stories have led me to all kinds of places—down online rabbit holes to explore the intersection of technology and fertility, up the Scottish highlands on a mountain bike, and to the carpet of a public library to talk with kids about literacy. I have a post-graduate certificate in Radio & Podcasting from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and an honours degree in English, History and American Studies from the University of Toronto. My work is equally informed by my experiences as an improv comedy actor and instructor, a farm worker and an HR professional.
