About Miranda

Miranda Suarez covers a little bit of everything in Fort Worth, but her favorite topics are city government, housing and the arts.

Before she came to Texas, she was living lakeside in Madison, Wisconsin and covering general assignment news as the Lee Ester Fellow at Wisconsin Public Radio.

She got her start as an intern and business desk fellow at WBUR in Boston, where she reported on her beloved home state of Massachusetts. During an internship at Boston 25 News, she conducted an investigation into mental health counseling services at Massachusetts colleges and universities that was nominated for a 2019 New England Emmy.

Miranda was selected for the AIR New Voices Class of 2021. Outside of radio, she loves music, reading and Dungeons & Dragons.
