About Megan

I am the news director at KUNM in Albuquerque, where I have also been a host for Morning Edition and All Things Considered. I produce and host a monthly show, University Showcase. I am a former fellow with the Solutions Journalism Network. I have done freelance work for NPR, LatinoUSA, Marketplace, The Bottom Line podcast and Peace Talks Radio. I'm also a correspondent for New Mexico PBS and previously produced several shows for the station. I was a business journalist for 18 years in print and online. I am also the former president of the Journalism and Women Symposium, a national organization, and I'm on the board of the New Mexico chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. I have a master's degree in journalism from Marquette University and an English degree from the University of Iowa.
