About Megan
It's Megan (rhymes with vegan) and I gotta lotta experience in communications, technology, and life sciences.
I co-produced and hosted the one-hour radio documentary "Shake it - a modern Polaroid love story" with Vanessa Lowe which was broadcast on over 65 radio stations in the US. I've enjoyed the KCRW Radio Race with some lovely producers from Snap Judgment and Reveal, and was a Top 10 Finalist in 2014 for the KCRW Radio Race with co-producer Claire Mullen. For three years I was a Regional Producer for The Moth, producing live storytelling shows in Berkeley and San Francisco, including the biggest Moth GrandSLAM in the country at the Castro Theatre.
As a digital producer, I've worked with Pulitzer-prize nominated Ear Hustle from Radiotopia, The Stoop, The Specialist, Closer Than They Appear from Al Jazeera Media, Just Food from UC Berkeley Food Institute, and The Spiritual Edge (KCRW). I was an instructor at UC Berkeley teaching podcast operations and marketing at the Advanced Media Institute.
I've produced and consulted on corporate and sponsored podcasts for Genentech, Roche, okta, and EY. I also produced an audio special for GE Digital, reporting on their one-day Code Like a Girl event. From California I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to work for the notable immersive arts and entertainment entity known as Meow Wolf.
I work with clients on communication strategy, immersive storytelling and content production, management, and distribution.

Currents Soundscapes
I produced a sound art project for Currents New Media in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2019.
There was a total of 68 sound art submissions over a period of 5 weeks, all guided by weekly themes. These short works came not only from artists in the USA (Alabama to California and places in between) but also from Singapore, Brazil, and Japan.
Gratitude to the wonderful curators as well. Fernando Hernandez, Leila Day, Maja Thomas, and Sxip Shirey. Each curator brought a different sonic aesthetic to this collection, yet they are united by an abiding interest and affection for humanity, not audiences. They looked for the handwork in these short sonic stories.
