About Martin
Martin is an audio producer and reporter, specializing in narrative projects. From 2013 through 2020, he worked at Only A Game from NPR and WBUR. Martin reported and produced a range of pieces, from a deep dive into the origin of the song "All-Star" by Smash Mouth to stories on mental health and inequities in college sports.
His piece "Learning To Swim With 7-Foot-5 Celtic Tacko Fall" won the 2020 Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting for Network Radio.
Most recently, Martin worked on a short-term project with NPR's On Point, helping produce episodes and short narratives in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election.
