About Louise

Hello! I am an audio storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. I currently work at NPR-affiliate station KPCC as an on-call producer at AirTalk with Larry Mantle, a two-hour daily news program. I have reported for KCRW, KQED, and WUNC Chapel Hill mostly on topics related to criminal justice, prison reform, and veterans. At the moment, I am developing a podcast series called DOWNWIND and hosting a show I began back in 2018 called Life on the Outside, in which I interview people who are reentering society after long-term incarceration. I'm passionate about first-person storytelling and creating platforms for people to share their stories.
