About Lilly
I’m an audio journalist based in Western North Carolina in Sylva, NC. Currently, I’m working at Blue Ridge Public Radio as their first full-time regional reporter covering the 10 North Carolina Counties West of Asheville as well as Northern Georgia. I have a Master’s degree from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. I can usually be found out at a community meeting or crafting an audio story. I’m especially interested in talking about Appalachian stereotypes, LGBTQ+ history and getting underrepresented voices on the airwaves. I’m looking for collaborators in the South.
