About Leah

I am a full-time freelance podcast mixing and mastering engineer, sound designer and composer. With six years of experience mixing for clients such as Latino USA, Hulu, WNYC and BirdNote, I'm a meticulous and passionate audio storyteller. I often mix content in both English and Spanish, and have experience with both scripted and conversational shows that focus on politics, culture, activism, and nature.

In addition to podcast work, I mix audio for immersive and interactive new media projects, including VR. I also score and produce music for short films, and often mix (and remix) other composer's music for use in media projects. 

I have an MFA in Media Scoring from CUNY Brooklyn College. I've composed and performed my own music throughout NYC and the East Coast, and have an undergraduate degree in bassoon performance. 

I'm assisted in all my audio work by my dog Skip, and get by with support from my husband, a fellow multimedia artist who remembers to cook when I get lost in mixing projects. We currently reside in Philadelphia.
