Kristin Gourlay is an award winning multimedia journalist with more than 15 years of experience in public broadcasting and brand journalism. She has covered health care, the environment, science, social issues and much more. Reporting and production skills include everything from podcasts and one hour documentaries to quick-turn spots, features and live two-ways. Currently a brand journalist for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Gourlay has helped shape the organization's editorial strategy, including launching its first branded podcast. Her work can be heard on National Public Radio and, previously, on several NPR member stations. Gourlay earned her MS in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is also an accomplished musician and a member of Chicago’s Georgian Ensemble Alioni.
