About Kim

Midwest-born, Brooklyn-based audio and video producer with experience working on both interview & narrative podcasts and additional experience in working with a team to develop and produce a brand-new show from scratch. Background in clinical mental health counseling and education inform my approach to storytelling, communication, organization, and working with a team. Additional background in music provides an excellent ear for audio, editing, scoring, and sound design. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College, CUNY, and recently completed the competitive Made in NY Podcast Certificate Program sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. I have additional interest and experience in fiction screenwriting for film & TV, and hold dual citizenship for the US and the UK.

"Trauma 101" explores the impact of trauma on the body and mind through one survivor's experience. Completed in the Made in NY Podcast Certificate Program in November 2019. Produced, scripted, sound designed, and edited in Hindenburg.

Voice Fugue

An experiment in creating music with variations of a spoken phrase. Created in Ableton, February 2021. Broadcast on Viennese radio show Female:Pressure in June 2021.
