Audio fiction and radio drama, especially with theaters and playwrights
I'm a theater artist with an educational background in audio journalism and overall four years of on-and-off experience. I've produced branded podcasts for Actors Theatre of Louisville and Indiana University, and am currently the story editor for It's Getting Brighter, a client-side podcast memoir by Larj Media.
My work in theater and audio is one and the same: I collaborate with writers, theaters and brands to tell stories. I'm primarily a new play dramaturg and playwright, and I turn that same ear for structure, character and time-based art to radio. I spent half of undergrad producing American Student Radio, a weekly non-fiction podcast, then as a college theater sound technician & designer.
Open to long-term positions and project-based freelance opportunities in documentary, narrative non-fiction, interview/roundtable podcasts, and audio fiction & radio drama.
College coursework and side projects, 2016-18
I co-developed and produced six episodes of a abranded interview podcast hosted by Actors Theatre of Louisville's executive artistic director.
Playing On Air
I edit audio for Playing On Air, a public radio program featuring short plays by American playwrights.
