Kathryn de la Rosa is a playwright with an educational background in audio journalism, and overall four years of on-and-off experience. Kathryn has produced branded podcasts for Actors Theatre of Louisville and Indiana University, and wrote and reported narrative non-fiction while in journalism school. Kathryn's work spans geographic, cultural and ideological difference, toward liberation from capital, colonialism and the state. Open to long-term positions and project-based freelance opportunities on the documentary, fiction and radio drama side of things, as well as interview-based podcasts. A Midwesterner passionate about politics and place, and down to help out with tape syncs, sensitivity reading, and connecting to sources in Kentucky and Indiana.
College coursework and side projects, 2016-18
A branded interview podcast hosted by Actors Theatre of Louisville executive artistic director Robert Barry Fleming. I co-developed the show, produced six episodes, and set up distribution while on while on a short-term contract with the communications department.
