The Night of the Speech
My sister had been my number one supporter throughout the period I've been chronically ill. So I was crushed when, in 2017, I was too sick to attend her wedding. Instead of sulking about it, however, I set out to create a video speech that would bring everyone in the audience to tears and laughter.

Struggling to Stay Afloat
My illness was so severe that I spent 22 hours a day in bed. Then, on an otherwise ordinary day, someone else’s life fell into my hands. In the second half of this episode, my parents and I chat about the many impacts my illness has had on our family.
This is a heartfelt radio story using music and sound effects to vividly depict living with chronic pain.

This is an audio rich, first-person story that occurred during a 10-day meditation retreat. The story explores the parallels between addiction and chronic illness, the power of vulnerability, and gaining insights from unexpected sources.

Logline: My gym teacher ridicules me in front of my peers, prompting the question: was my child-acting career a fluke? If so, what does that say about my legacy? What does free pizza have to do with any of this?
This is a satirical, underdog story of facing your inner and outer demons that is audio rich and part first-person retelling, part re-dramatization.
