About Jasmine
Jasmine M. Ellis is an associate producer at Slate Podcasts. She has a background in public radio, having reported and produced stories for Mississippi Public Broadcasting in Jackson and WHYY in Philadelphia. Jasmine also worked as the podcast specialist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where she produced the accessAtlanta: Things to do in Atlanta podcast. In 2018, Jasmine hosted a dispatch from Stacey Abrams' election night watch party for the Politically Georgia podcast. She's an alumna of Spelman College and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, a 2020 IWMF Gwen Ifill Fellow, a 2019 AIR New Voices Scholar, and a 2016 White House Correspondents' Association scholarship recipient.
