About James
I'm a podcast freelancer and musician who co-runs the ‘On Design’ podcast with Justyna Green, which is one of the top 10 design podcasts in the UK. I have over 4 years experience in providing top-notch production services to my highly valued clients across the design, health and hospitality sectors. I also love to compose original music for podcasts/projects—please see the portfolio below for examples of my work.
My other passions are in health, wellness and longevity; and I'm also fascinated by converging, exponential technologies such as blockchain, AI, and robotics which are changing the world at breath-taking speed. I'm looking to expand my client base into these areas, so please get in touch if that sounds like you!
Why choose me?
- I offer competitive rates for recording, editing and consultation services and pride myself on being reliable, hardworking and producing killer content for my awesome clients.
- I understand that there were 2.5 million podcasts available in 2022 and many podcasts get lost in that vast sea of content. I’ve helped my clients thrive in this busy market by working with them to make sure their podcast is the best it can be.
- I believe that the journey is as important as the destination and work in such a way that is friendly, ethical and elevates people. I strive for all my collaborations to be successful and for everyone involved to have some fun along the way!
James' Portfolio
This is a piece that I wrote and produced under my artist name, James Greenfield. This is a peaceful, deep, neoclassical track and is typical of several other songs I have written in this style.
This is an example of the more upbeat, dance music that I create. This particular track is a fusion of western dance beats and African sounds. The lyrics roughly translate as, 'hurry up, the beauty of the world'. I wanted to write something that tested me as a producer and that was accessible and uplifting.
I sometimes produce ambient music which has a deep, minimal feel to it. This track is an example of that which represents a journey into deeper states of consciousness.
