About Heloiza
Heloiza Barbosa is a winner of the 2021 Third Coast Audio Festival. She is a Brazilian editor, producer, writer, and researcher. She hosts/produces FAXINA [fah-she-nah], a Portuguese Language podcast full of stories that get swept under the rug, such the stories of Brazilian house cleaners in America. FAXINA won the 2021 Third Coast Audio Festival as the Best Documentary in non-English Language.
FAXINA was also considered one of the best narrative podcasts in Brazil in 2020 and it was selected to take part in the Google Podcast Creators Program in 2021.
