About Gianluca
Gianluca hosts a weekly interview show called "Sitting With Gianluca” on RadioFreeBrooklyn.com and UK Radio station ResonanceFM 104.4 He has also done pieces for NPR's Studio 360 and a feature on Honeyboy Edwards and the American hobo for BBC Radio. In June 2014 he wrote, produced, presented and edited an hour-long radio feature on the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and their issues. Gianluca has been a music journalist for 20 years and recently spent 2017-2019 making field recordings of changüí music in remote locations around Guantánamo Province, Cuba for an upcoming 3 CD box set with photo-book.
