About Chris

I am a journalist, photographer, editor and radio producer based in Chicago. I'm a producer for NPR's national newsmagazine, Here & Now. In the past I've been a climate fellow with The GroundTruth Project; a freelancer for PRI's The World, CityLab, and many other outlets; Midwest Editor for The Architect's Newspaper; Boston Editor for Crain's National; and a reporter for WBEZ's Curious City. My radio work has appeared on stations and networks including NPR, PRI, PRX, WBUR, WGBH, WBEZ, and RIPR, as well as The GroundTruth Project podcast. My writing has been published in outlets including The New York Times' Green blog, The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine and Architect magazine. I have a masters degree in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University, where I was a Comer Scholar for climate change reporting, and an ISEN Cluster Fellow studying sustainability and energy.
