- Philadelphia, PA
I'm a bilingual journalist based in Philadelphia currently working in public radio. I like to tell stories on the impacts climate change, pollution, and policies regulating air, water, land, and energy have on people's daily lives. I'm also interested in nature, science, immigration, art, and social justice issues.
Before joining WHYY, I worked as a freelance reporter/producer for media outlets in Mexico and Chile. I founded an online community radio in Santiago, Chile. And I taught journalism in Chile and in New York, at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
I'm a graduate of Columbia School of Journalism, and a Metcalf and Fulbright fellow. I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, and I've been living with my wife and son in Philadelphia since 2014, in front of Norris Square Park, in Kensington.
